Terms of service

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods by Home Improvement Supplies Limited (Company No. 5375596), registered at Units 2–3 Robin Hood Works, Wakefield Road, Brighouse, West Yorkshire, HD6 1PE (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer (“you”).

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Contract Formation

A legally binding contract is formed when we accept your order.
Acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch of goods.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch.


2. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate unless stated otherwise.

Payment must be received in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to amend prices prior to order acceptance.

3. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Risk passes to you upon delivery or collection.

You must inspect goods upon receipt and notify us within a reasonable time of any damage, shortage, or issue.


4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

If goods become unavailable after purchase, we may:

  • Offer a suitable alternative, or

  • Issue a full refund.


5. Cancellation & Returns

5.1 Consumer Orders (B2C – Online Sales)

If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You must notify us in writing within this period.

Returned goods must be:

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • In resaleable condition

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless goods are faulty.


5.2 Business Orders (B2B)

Business-to-business transactions are not subject to statutory cooling-off rights.

Returns for business customers are accepted at our discretion and may be subject to handling or restocking charges where applicable.


5.3 Made-to-Measure & Bespoke Goods

Goods that are:

  • Made to measure

  • Cut to size

  • Specially manufactured

  • Custom ordered to specification

Including but not limited to windows, doors, panels cut to size, rubber products, glass and double glazing, are non-refundable unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.


5.4 Special Order / Supplier Items

Where goods are ordered in specially from a manufacturer or supplier and are not part of our normal stocked range, any restocking, handling or return carriage charges imposed on us by the supplier may be deducted from any refund.

These charges are determined by the supplier and may be up to 15–20% of the goods value, where applicable.

We do not impose blanket restocking charges.


5.5 Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


6. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any matter that cannot legally be excluded

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Business interruption


7. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website or use it for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend access for breach of these Terms.


8. Errors & Omissions

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, inaccuracies, or product description mistakes prior to dispatch.


9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.


10. Intellectual Property

All images, drawings, product descriptions, and website content remain our property or the property of our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.


11. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
