Capping Board FAQ's

What are capping boards used for?

Capping boards are used to cover existing sound timber boards and give the roofline a cleaner, more updated finish without full replacement.

Are these uPVC capping boards?

Yes. This page is focused on uPVC capping boards, which are a popular choice for low-maintenance roofline refurbishment work..

Do capping boards come in different widths?

Yes. Capping boards are available in a range of widths to suit different roofline details and levels of face coverage, so you can choose the size that best matches the existing board.

Do you sell capping boards in different lengths?

Yes. Capping boards are available in practical length options depending on the product, helping you choose the right size for the roofline area you are covering.

What is the difference between capping boards and replacement fascia boards?

Capping boards are fitted over existing sound timber, while replacement fascia boards are used when the old fascia needs removing and replacing completely. If the existing timber is no longer suitable, a full replacement fascia board is usually the better option.

What colours are available in the capping board range?

The capping board range includes popular colour options to help match existing roofline products and property styles, depending on product availability.

Can capping boards also be used for reveal work?

Some capping boards can also be used for reveal work where the size and profile suit the job, but their main use on this page is covering existing roofline boards.
