Choose your setup

Existing Concrete Posts or New Posts?

Composite fencing can be installed into existing concrete posts or built as a full new run with matching posts and support parts. Choose the route that suits your project.

Using Existing Concrete Posts

If your concrete posts are staying in place, composite boards can be fitted using the right channels and support parts. This is a practical way to update the look of an older fence without replacing the full structure.

Starting a New Fencing Run

For new fence runs, shop composite boards alongside matching posts, caps and support parts for a cleaner, more complete finish. This route is ideal if you are building the full fencing system from scratch.

Composite Fencing FAQs

Choosing Composite Fencing

What is composite fencing?

Composite fencing is made from a blend of recycled wood fibres and plastic, giving you the look of timber with far less ongoing maintenance. It is a popular choice for modern garden fencing because it is durable, low-maintenance and available in a range of colours and finishes.

Can composite fencing be fitted into existing concrete posts?

Standard cladding boards usually give a flatter, more traditional exterior finish. Slatted cladding is more design-led, with deeper shadow lines and a stronger modern look.

Do I need to order posts and accessories separately?

Yes. Depending on your setup, you may also need posts, caps, inserts, bolt downs or other finishing parts. The right setup usually depends on whether you are using existing concrete posts or starting a new fencing run from scratch.

What is the difference between woodgrain and slatted composite fencing?

Woodgrain composite fencing has a more traditional board-style appearance, while slatted composite fencing gives a cleaner, more modern look. Both offer a low-maintenance alternative to timber, but the right choice usually comes down to the finish and overall style you want for your garden.

Planning & Practical Checks

Does composite fencing need much maintenance?

Composite fencing is designed to be low maintenance compared with timber. It does not need regular painting, staining or treating, and it can usually be kept looking its best with general cleaning and routine care.

Will composite fencing fade, warp or rot?

Composite fencing is made to handle outdoor conditions far better than traditional timber. Like most exterior products, some weathering can happen over time, especially in the early period after installation, but composite boards are designed to resist rot and require much less upkeep than wooden fencing.

Can I see the colours and finishes before I order?

Yes. You can visit our showroom to compare colours and finishes more clearly, and we can also help with samples if you want to review options before placing a full order.
