Fascia Board FAQ's

What are fascia boards used for?

Fascia boards are fitted along the roof edge to create a clean, finished front face and help protect the roofline. They are one of the main external roofline boards and are commonly used in replacement and refurbishment work.

Are these replacement fascia boards?

Yes, this page is focused on full replacement fascia boards rather than cover boards. These boards are designed for projects where the existing fascia needs replacing rather than covering over.

What is the difference between replacement fascia boards and capping boards?

Replacement fascia boards are used where a full new fascia board is needed, while capping boards are fitted over existing sound timber. If you are looking for a cover option rather than a full replacement board, you should view the capping boards range instead.

Are these 16mm fascia boards?

Yes, this range is built around 16mm fascia boards, making it a practical choice for full replacement roofline work. If you are comparing profiles, you can also view bullnose and ogee fascia options separately.

Do fascia boards come in different widths?

Yes, fascia boards are available in a range of widths to suit different roofline details and levels of face coverage. Common sizes in this range include 150mm, 175mm, 200mm, 225mm, 250mm, 300mm and 405mm.

Do you sell fascia boards in different lengths?

Yes, fascia boards are available in practical length options, including 2.5m and 5m lengths, depending on the product. Check the product options on the collection grid to find the size that suits your project.

What colours are available in the fascia board range?

This fascia board range includes popular finishes such as white, black woodgrain, light oak, rosewood, anthracite and agate grey, depending on product availability. Matching trims and related roofline products may also be available in coordinating finishes.

What is the difference between square edge, bullnose and ogee fascia boards?

Square edge fascia boards give a cleaner, straighter look, while bullnose fascia boards have a softer rounded front edge and ogee fascia boards have a more decorative moulded profile. If you are looking for a different fascia style, use the links on this page to view the other fascia profiles.
